 defining datatype for more than 8000+ char

Hi,
I am using sql server 2000,i am having more than 8000+ char and this will increase in future which datatype should i define for this kind of issue!!.

You can use TEXT or NTEXT data type since the size of your data will be more than 8000 characters.
